In late May 2024, a delegation from the agricultural equipment manufacturer Rhinomaster embarked on a journey to Vong Taov City, Vietnam to tour the facilities of BACONCO, a pioneering producer of eco-friendly fertilizers and soil amendments. The purpose of the visit was to learn about BACONCO's innovative approaches to sustainable agriculture and explore potential areas of collaboration.
Upon arriving at the BACONCO factory, the Rhinomaster team was greeted by the company's CCO, Didier Pinguet, and taken on an in-depth tour of the production lines and research laboratories. The visitors were incredibly impressed by the level of technical sophistication and environmental stewardship on display. BACONCO's commitment to developing regenerative solutions for Vietnamese farmers was truly inspiring.
A highlight of the tour was seeing BACONCO's advanced composting system, which converts agricultural waste from local farms into nutrient-rich fertilizer. This closed-loop process allows the company to create a circular economy for plant nutrients, rather than relying on resource-intensive synthetic inputs. By empowering farmers to produce their own sustainable fertilizers, BACONCO is helping to build a more resilient and environmentally-friendly food system.
The Rhinomaster team was also impressed by BACONCO's precision soil testing laboratory, where researchers use the latest analytical tools to provide tailored recommendations to farmers. The data-driven approach that BACONCO has pioneered is seen as a game-changer for optimizing fertilizer applications and improving soil health. The visitors recognized the tremendous potential in bringing these kinds of innovative diagnostics to customers around the world.
As the visit drew to a close, both the Rhinomaster and BACONCO leadership teams expressed enthusiasm for exploring future collaborations. This trip had opened the Rhinomaster team's eyes to the incredible strides being made in sustainable agriculture, particularly in Vietnam. The companies are excited to find ways they can work together to empower farmers, enhance food security, and protect the planet.
