elements are considered essential nutrients for plants. These are carbon (C), oxygen

(O), hydrogen (H), nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca),

magnesium (Mg), sulfur (S), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu),

boron (B), molybdenum (Mo) and chlorine (Cl).
